Coplin Health Systems Welcomes Physician Assistant Leann Williams
Coplin Health Systems is pleased to welcome physician assistant Leann Williams to Coplin Health Systems. Williams is excited to join the health center’s medical team and provide quality care to patients of all ages.
“I look forward to having a significant impact not just on the lives of my patients but also on the communities as a whole,” Williams said. “One of my goals as a healthcare provider is to develop lasting relationships with my patients and their families, helping them understand their health goals and encourage preventive health screenings and practices.”
Williams earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Charleston in Charleston, W.Va., in May 2015. She is board certified as a physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Williams received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Charleston in 2012.
Before joining Coplin Health Systems, Williams worked in asthma and allergy. Her medical experiences range from evaluating and treating patients with acute and chronic allergies, immunodeficiencies, and respiratory conditions such as COPD and asthma. She is also a certified athletic trainer and played four years of collegiate soccer at the University of Charleston.
Rob Dudley, CEO of Coplin Health Systems, said that Williams is a valuable addition to the medical team, bringing a passion for community-based healthcare. She will mostly serve patients in Jackson County, W.Va. and Meigs County, Ohio.
“We are excited to have Leann join our medical team at Coplin Health Systems and provide quality healthcare to patients in our communities throughout their lifecycle,” Dudley said. “With Leann’s energy for healthcare, she will earn patients’ trust and make a difference in their lives.”
Dr. Darrin E. Nichols, Chief Medical Officer of Coplin Health Systems, added, “Leann’s commitment to patient care aligns with Coplin Health Systems’ mission to provide accessible quality healthcare services. We look forward to working together to enhance the health outcomes of our patients.”
