Who, What, When and Where of Open Enrollment
From November 1st to January 15th, representatives at Coplin Health Systems will be available to help individuals seeking health insurance from the Marketplace during the open enrollment period. Are you or someone you know interested in purchasing health insurance during the open enrollment period? We have everything you need to know:
WHO should take advantage of open enrollment?
Any legal U.S. citizen who does not have health insurance available through their employer or Medicare and would like to purchase private insurance.
WHAT should interested individuals bring with them?
Individuals will need to bring several documents to the appointment, including personal information (SSN, mailing address, etc.), income and employment information, household size, current insurance details, estimation of household income, information for legal and naturalized citizens, and a completed “Employer Coverage Tool” for every job-based plan you or someone in your household is eligible for. The full checklist can be found at healthcare.gov.
WHEN can individuals meet with representatives to sign up?
Starting November 1st to January 15th, individuals can make an appointment Monday-Friday anytime between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.
WHERE can individuals meet with representatives?
Representatives are available for appointments at our four main sites: Parkersburg Family Care-Camden Ave, Ripley Family Care, River Valley Family Care, and Wirt County Family Care. However, this year we are able to hold these appointments over the phone with verbal consent.
