Looking for an outdoor activity to enjoy this summer with your family? Try biking! Biking is fun for the entire family and great outdoor exercise. The providers at Coplin Health Systems encourage you to get outdoors, but also want you to know the risks to stay safe all summer long.
Take These Precautions When Bicycling In Your Neighborhood:
- Inspect your bike prior to riding
- Wear neon or bright colored and easily seen clothing
- Always wear a properly fitted helmet
- Stay alert and watch for bikers, pedestrians, and drivers
- Carry a cellphone and ID
- Bring drinking water for longer rides
- Always ride with a buddy
