Renovations completed at Coplin Administrative Building
Coplin Health Systems recently completed renovations on a new administrative building.
The new 4,400 square-foot facility houses the health center’s administrative offices, conference rooms, and training center. Located adjacent to the Parkersburg Family Care (Pediatric and Primary Care Center) and Parkersburg Family Care Dental offices on Emerson Avenue, the renovations also provide additional parking for patients accessing services at that location.
Rob Dudley, CEO of Coplin Health Systems, said that centralizing administrative offices at the Emerson location opens space in clinic sites to be used for patient care.
“The improvements Coplin Health Systems has made in new and existing facilities exemplifies our continued commitment to providing access to quality health care in the community,” Dudley said. “We have always provided quality care and knew there was a need for more space to expand services. By consolidating our administrative and support services in one location, we are creating opportunities to grow patient-centered services at our main clinic sites”
The conversion of the 1955 residential home to an administrative office and training space began in the Fall of 2021. With the interior and exterior upgrades recently completed, Coplin Health Systems staff began moving into the building in June 2022.
Providing staff and health care providers with access to a training center containing updated technology was another goal of the renovation project. The training center will be used for employee orientation and various training sessions.
“This newly renovated space supports our long-term goal of focusing on staff development and the health care needs of people in our area,” Dudley said. “The new building contains workspaces where Coplin Health Systems staff can gather to collaborate, brainstorm, or simply recharge.”
The Parkersburg Family Care located on Emerson Avenue is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information or to schedule a pediatric, primary care or dental appointment, call 304-917-3733 or visit coplinhealth.com.
