Coplin’s Dr. Cathy Dailey Recognized by Community & Patients
Coplin Health Systems’ only pediatrician, Dr. Cathy Dailey, has been recognized as the top pediatric physician for her dedication to quality care by readers of The Marietta Times.
Recently, The Marietta Times announced that Dr. Dailey had received the 2019 Readers’ Choice Award for Best Pediatrician.
Dr. Dailey’s career with Coplin Health Systems started at the beginning of 2018 when she began seeing patients 18 and under at Parkersburg Family Care. Since then, Dr. Dailey’s high quality and personalized care has made an impact on her patients and the quality of care within the community.
“Dr. Dailey is an absolutely amazing doctor,” Sarah Anne Snyder, whose children are patients of Dr. Dailey. “She has been our pediatrician for 8 years. I wouldn’t let my children see anyone else, so we followed her to Coplin clinic.”
Prior to coming to Parkersburg Family Care, Dr. Dailey was working at Memorial Health System as the Director of Pediatrics and as the Physician Executive Director for Primary Care. She received her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University and her Doctor of Osteopathy from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Dr. Dailey completed her residency in pediatric medicine at Baylor/Texas Children’s Hospital.
With all of her medical background, Dr. Dailey is a licensed pediatrician not only in West Virginia but also in Ohio. Additionally, she is a board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Aside from being recognized by Marietta Times’ readers, Dr. Dailey was presented with the
Compassionate Doctor Award and Patient Choice Award repeatedly since 2009. She has also received a 5 Star Healthgrades rating since 2011.
“We knew that by bringing Dr. Dailey into the Coplin Health family, she would make a tremendous impact on our patients and the community,” said Rob Dudley, Interim CEO/COO. “Like Coplin, Dr. Dailey strongly believes in providing patients quality care, and we are more than pleased, but not surprised, that she has been awarded Best Pediatrician by the readers.”
