Wirt County Schools Wellness Center Welcomes Nurse Practitioner Kenna Wagner
ELIZABETH, WV (Jan. 23, 2022) – We are pleased to welcome family nurse practitioner Kenna Wagner to Coplin Health Systems at our Wirt County Schools Wellness Center. Wagner is excited to return home and provide quality care to patients of all ages.

Wagner is interested in educating her patients about preventive medicine, helping them fully understand their medical conditions, and reducing the need for pharmaceutical intervention.
“I have always had a strong desire to know why something occurred, and I genuinely love learning new things,” Wagner said. “After some early life obstacles, I entered the healthcare field, and my determination propelled me through my healthcare, and educational journey until I became a nurse practitioner. I am grateful for the opportunity to join Coplin Health Systems.”
Wagner earned her Master of Science Nursing degree from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minn., in May 2019 and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University in December 2015 (cum laude).
Wagner is a recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship, a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is chemotherapy certified via the Oncology Nursing Society.
Dr. Darrin Nichols, CMO of Coplin Health Systems, said Wagner’s passion for disease prevention and education will benefit the Wirt County Schools Wellness Center.
“We are excited to have Kenna join our medical team at Coplin Health Systems and provide quality care to patients in our community throughout their lifecycle,” Nichols said. “Kenna’s knowledge, compassion, and energy will serve her well at the Wirt County community and schools.”
Wagner resides in Lowell, Ohio, with her husband, Kevin, and three sons, Logan, age
18 (currently serving in the United States Air Force); Levi, age 11 (middle school); and Lucas, age 10 (elementary). She enjoys attending her children’s baseball, wrestling, band, 4-H, and FFA activities. She volunteers with Sufficient Grace Ministries and enjoys reading, gardening, photography, and traveling in her spare time.
Wagner is now seeing patients at Wirt County Schools Wellness Center. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 304-275-3117 or visit coplinhealth.com.
