Healthcare Marketplace Assistance Available by Appointment

Representatives with Coplin Health Systems are available to help individuals seeking health insurance from the Marketplace during the open enrollment period.

Representatives will be available for assistance at four main sites: Parkersburg Family Care on Camden Avenue, Ripley Family Care, River Valley Family Care, and Wirt County Family Care. Available times for services are 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, November 1 until December 15 (excluding Nov. 25-27).

Those interested do need to make an appointment, however, appointments can be done over the phone this year with verbal consent. To make an appointment, call one of the main sites and speak to the Care Manager of the office.

It is suggested that any legal citizen who does not have insurance available through their employer, Medicare, and who wants to purchase private insurance take advantage of open enrollment.

Representatives will be available to assist with the application process and discuss any concerns with policies and coverage plans.

Individuals will need to bring several documents to the appointment, including personal information (SSN, mailing address, etc.), income and employment information, household size, current insurance details, estimation of household income, information for legal and naturalized citizens, and a completed “Employer Coverage Tool” for every job-based plan you or someone in your household is eligible for. The full checklist can be found at healthcare.gov.
